Email name scheme policy

The default rule is that all company email addresses must follow the typical format: firstname.lastname@thomann.io

However, we’ve agreed on the following exceptions, which can be applied if requested by the individual:

• Preferred names for unisex names
• Cultural sensitivity
• Double names or very long names can be shortened

These are special cases that require approval on an individual basis. People and culture will review the request and decide if it’s feasible.
